TORNADO IN JOHNSON COUNTY...IOWA * PRELIMINARY INTENSITY...HIGH END F2 DAMAGE WITH WIND SPEEDS OF 150 MPH. * TORNADO TOUCHDOWN OCCURRED AROUND 800 PM * PATH LENGTH 4 1/2 MILES * PATH WIDTH ONE THIRD OF A MILE. * PATH BEGAN AT THE INTERSECTION OF 218 AND HIGHWAY 1 AND MOVED NORTHEAST ACROSS IOWA CITY. * 30 PERSONS HAVE BEEN ADMITTED TO LOCAL HOSPITALS WITH MINOR INJURIES.
