.DAY ONE...Tonight

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected into tonight. A
few of the storms may approach severe limits with marginally
severe hail and wind gusts. Localized heavy rain will also be
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The combination of heat and humidity will push heat index values
into the mid 90s with some locations approaching 100 on Friday
into Saturday.

A few isolated non-severe storms are possible Thursday morning
and then again Thursday evening. Otherwise, more widespread
showers and thunderstorms are expected to mainly arrive over
northwestern Iowa by Sunday and over central and eastern Iowa by
early Monday lasting through much of Tuesday. It is too early to
determine the severe weather threat this weekend into early next
week.
