The IEM web farm set a milestone for daily web traffic on Friday 16 June 2017 with just over 855 million requests. The news item links to a webalizer report which shows a smaller total due to a small bug with how it computes 'daily' values. Much of this current surge in traffic is due to an updated Android app (MyRadar) that utilizes the IEM NEXRAD Time Map Service. Here is a listing of previous milestones set:
