Temps and Winds

The featured image is a scatter plot of 2 PM observations of temperature versus wind direction during December. The contour shows the quantile density which shows which combinations are most common. The side histograms show the overall distribution of temps and winds. The moral to this story is that northwest winds are the most dominate and coldest! The secondary maximum near 35 degrees and southeast winds represents the common situation as storm systems approach.
